Let me introduce myself, my name is Caz Abbott-Lotcho. I have been in the akita breed from 1997 but had read up on the breed for about 2 years before owning my first akita. I used to run a rescue service for the Staffies and did so for around 5 years. Up until last year I had the very last staffie to come through the
rescue but unfortunately she died at the grand old age of 17.
My first akita was a bitch from the Dojosan Kennels and she was great, Rubi hated to be in the showring unless my son was attached to the lead so we had a force of wills as it was myself who showed her occasionally.
Throughout the years we have proven ourselves and produced lovely, big puppies and with a temperament to die for. We intend to keep it up and thank Ellen and Joe O’neill (Geilsaven Akitas) and Helen and Barney Mclaren (Ryderston Akitas) for their continued help and support.
In between all of the dogs I got divorced and re,married and guess what?? Inherited 3 cocker spaniels along with the husband, and branched out to Japanese Shiba Inu’s, namely Loki and Deka and have since bred a litter and added Oola to the Shiba team.
We are happily showing all the gang at champ level and breeding and producing big, chunky pups, full of substance, and type, along with excellent temperaments.
We are always available to chat, dogs, pups etc so if you need advise or general info then feel free to contact us.
